On my March 14 post, Lucy left a thoughtful comment about rereading. As I said in my reply, I think, in my case, it's a quirk of character. But I'm always interested to hear what any of you have to say about rereading, obsessive or otherwise.

Generally I reread for comfort. I like knowing the characters and what is going to happen. However, I often discover new motivations for events or reactions within the stories. There are certain authors whose work I follow and collect because I know I'll turn to them again and again. I guess I too reread as a child, gobbling up the books without restraint.

Question.
I seem to remember noticing a posting for an uncoming apperance at Endicott College. Are you still planning on speaking there?

The Endicott visit has been postponed because Charlotte Gordon, my inviter, had to go to London. We're hoping to schedule another date.
